Okay folks, this has really got to stop. I just spent much of the last hour visiting most of the Newsvine groups to which I belong in search of articles and seeds that I've missed over the past couple of months. The search was fruitful but it was also frustrating. Some of my fellow 'Viners have been guilty of spamming the groups to which they belong. They have posted articles and seeds to groups that had NOTHING at all to do with the theme of the group. Can we agree to stop that practice? Hardly a week passes when I don't have to delete something from one of the groups that I own because it doesn't relate to the group. Some groups don't have moderators who are as zealous about such culling as I am and it makes the utility of belonging to the group somewhat questionable.
When you post seeds and articles please take a moment to consider whether the content actually belongs in the group(s) to which you decide to post it. If it doesn't belong in the group, don't post it to that group. There is no harm in just posting content to "All of Newsvine" and letting other group members decide to clip it to the appropriate group(s). Let's avoid spamming the groups so that groups will remain vibrant and relevant.
Thank you for your support.
